Calibrating the 1064nm fiber laser at 2 AM. Slicing the carbon layer with sub-micron precision to achieve the signature food-safe zero-ink burn.
By carbonizing the wood cells rather than printing inks, the inscription becomes part of the timber itself.

Zero-Vibration Night Testing

Nocturnal silence yields the cleanest beam calibrations. Any micro-vibration from daytime city traffic can offset our beam focal point by precious microns. We are targeting a depth of exactly 0.8mm into solid seasoned wood.

Using seasoned walnut test slabs, we fine-tuned the laser pulse frequency. At 120 nanoseconds, the wood cells carbonize instantly without scorching the surrounding grain. The result is a crisp, dark, tactile groove that never fades.

100% Food Safe: Why Ink-Free Matters

Standard personalized gifts rely on solvent UV inks or chemical acrylic stains that chip away into food over time. Our industrial fiber laser uses high-density photon energy to vaporize surface fibers and gently caramelize the natural lignins in the teak.

The resulting deep dark contrast is 100% natural carbonized wood grain—completely non-toxic, food-safe, and permanent.
